Blog The Good, the Bad and the Awful!
Sometimes life is so full of ups and down's you don't know if you are coming or going. My life in particular, especially over the last few years has been just that. Anyone who has known me for a while now will know some of the detail of my life and I thank them dearly for their friendship and support. For those of you who don’t really know me, you should know this, I believe in sharing your experiences and feelings so that others may be helped or inspired by them, or indeed have a good laugh and know that they are not alone in going through life’s challenges. You should also know that no matter what I always strive to remain positive and happy. However there are times when this is very difficult to ..... Read More

I Am Still Here!
OK you can officially stop panicking now. Contrary to popular opinion, I have not dropped off the face of the planet. I am OK, I have just been taking some much needed me time.
To be honest after my last lot of eye surgery, things were pretty tough and just seeing where I was going was and still is a challenge. It made me kind of depressed but there comes a point where you think – enough is enough, get up off you butt and stop feeling sorry for yourself!
I am at that stage now and what I really need is to find my crafting mojo. Every time I think I have found it for some reason it slips away just as quickly. Read More

Off Line for a while
Hi all,
Just to let you know that from today, I will be off line for a while (at least a week) today is the big day of the left eye operation and to be honest with you I am absolutley petrified. Yes I know I have already had one done so I know what to expect - well that's the problem. My right eye remaines a little blurred - kind of like being short sighted without your glasses and I know it won't improve now until the other one is healed and I can have glasses but boy I am still not looking forward to this interim period!
Anyway, I will see you all on the other side (so to speak)

They are ready!!!!!!
Woooohooooo at last all the hard work is over and the designs are here! These are the 12 brand new cardmate sheets available from www.ws-designs.co.uk
I love them (well I would they were designed in part by me!) The main image on each sheet was designed by a very talented artist called Pam West. You can check out Pams blog and website at www.pamwest.co.uk or http://pamwest.blogspot.com I really hope you like the new sheets.
If you are not familiar with the concept, they were originally designed to go with the pop out range from WS Designs. The idea being that the bottom forms the background for inside the pop out and the toppers make up the decoration for the front and inside. The original 12 were released just over a year ago and have been really popular and I really hope that the new lot (which are very different from the first lot) are just as popular ..... Read More

I have lost my G
How difficult do you think it is to use a computer keyboard without your G?
Well let me tell you that it is very difficult indeed. About a year ago I lost the key off my G. Pretty soon I got used to bashing away on the keybard with just the little rubber bit that was left behind, but the worst has finally happened and the rubber bit has gone. Now the g hardly works and I miss it.
I think I will have to check out ebay to see if I can find a replacement key pad!!!

Boogie Nights
What a brilliant show! I went with Debbie (from Stampeezee) and a couple of her friends last night to the Alex Theatre in Birmingham. Debbie's daughter, Grace was lucky enough to win a part in it.
The whole show is called the Theatre Experience and the cast is made up in full by young thesbians who all had to audition for their parts. The concept is fantastic and gives the youth of today a fantastic start into the world of theatre. For many of the older ones (17 - 18) it is their third or fourth year doing this type of show. All of the crew, directors, stage hands are the real deal so it really is a complete full on experience.
The show was funny, brilliant and entertaining. I loved it, and the voices of the singers were superb!
Well done Grace and everyone else who is in the show. If any of you are local and want to go - it is on for four more nights.
